Was having a look around my engine bay today 91 carlsson,found a loose pipe underneath the throttle body,i could not find where it was meant to go,i traced the pipe which i think is a vacum pipe (well its the size of one) to a switch on the n/s of the engine bay,this switch has three other pipes on it and one of them comes off the dump valve,the car does have TCS any ideas on where this pipe should go.

If you look carefully at the underside of the throttle body towards the false bulkhead ( easier said than done) I think you will find a stub for the vacuum pipe to push on to.

i did have a good long hard look and from underneath the car and felt the underside of the throttle body too and found nothing,but i will take another peek.

Good. You might notice the car performing a bit better too and now that the dump valve will be working it should give the turbo an easier life on the overrun.

the car was overboosting in 2nd and as a whole the car didnt feel that quick but the boost gauge went into the broken red and yellow and fell back into the yellow,but i havent driven the car yet to see if its any better.
