Has anyone had experinece of/able to recommend a "performance" head gasket for turbos? Having got my engine really singing, I fear that the relatively new head gasket (about 7000 miles) may be giving up (small bubbles in expansion tank & minor oil film).

Swedish dynamics in the US advertise one- does anyone know of other sources?

Or, is there anything to be gained (short of snapping the head bolts ) froim over-torquing in an attempt to reduce the head-block movement that causes the damn thing to go in the first place?

I looked into these a few months back when my head gasket went.

All the ppl i spoke to said there is no need for a copper gasket, the standard one is good to 350bhp ish.

As far a head bolts go - get new ones - they are stretch bolts so don't overtighten them or you'll be in sheep dip!!
