Hi everyone.

I have what appears to be a temperamental overboost detection valve in my T16s.

When in a faulty state, there's no 12v to the fuel pump. Sometimes it allows the car to start, other times not.

Bypassing the valve (taking the sensor out of the circuit by connecting the brown and brown/white wires above the ECU) allows the car to run just fine. Helpfully, the wiring harness has the connectors for non-turbo cars, so it's a simple unplug and re-plug.

I've no idea how, but I have a spare sensor.

Has anyone ever replaced one? I believe that it is behind the dash. If that is the case, it looks like a fairly miserable job.

Grateful for any views.
