Well,

I have finally gone for it and have plunged into the world of uprated ECU's.
Have ordered the Speedparts ECU and JT Cat-back exhaust.

Just a few words of advice if you please.

I will be doing a complete oil, filter and plug change. Is there anything else that I should be doing that I don't know about?

Cheers

ps its a 96 2.0lpt

Check the complete exhaust system, I ordered the stage 1 and then went outside and checked the whole thing, only to find the rear section was full of holes, I then had to cancel the stage 1 and go for the stage 2.
You will love the transformation

I have the same car and Speedparts stage 2

Also, when you put in the plugs, make sure you gap them to the tight end of the range as higher boost pressure require more power to get a spark across the gap. This, in turn, wears out the coil in the DI cassette. Hirsch told me this before I went down to their shop to get my ECU custom programmed.
