Finally bought an OP COM interface (firmware 1.45) and have got it talking a little using china 08_2010 software which I obtained via an Astra download link.
If anyone is using OP COM can they advise which version they are using and car configuration.
I am using Vectra C/Signum with Z19DTH for my 1.9TID however there are quite a number of different versions based on the ECU checksum and non match with mine (0789 from memory)
Before anyone asks I am trying to get to the bottom of a "traction control error"amongst other things.
Anyone have any advice?
The whole subject is taboo at Vectra C btw which I can understand a bit but at the endof the day we are all trying to learn how to fix these things without paying out large sums of money!
