Have just fitted the aux guages to the 9k aero and just want to know if the oil pressure guage is working properly. The guage shows 1 - 5 bar and when the car is running the needle is constantly at just over 5 bar. When I turn the ignition off the needle flickers a little and rests at the end of the scale at the 5 bar position. Does this sound ok

cheers

My oil pressure when cold peaks around 4 bar, I'll take a good look tomorrow Zahid. Once warm it drops to around the figures Leon is mentioning.

No, not at all.

The gauge should drop to reading minimum with the ignition off. It sounds like you may have a wiring problem.

Thanks guys. Did think that maybe the wiring has been put on the wrong way round

Bubbles, I got it wrong, when the ignitions off the needle does come to rest at the mimimum side of the scale (eventually)
