Whay does the 92/3 2.0 LPT not have a turbo gauge .
Yep no doubt there will be a perfectly reasonable explanation for it.I'm going to have a look in the "Saab online" pages and find out a couple things about boost presure ect.
Iv'e also wrote an email to Elkparts asking about this ECU upgrade.

Oh I see, but what the real diffirence between FPT's and LPT's, is it the the turbo unit itself?.
Sorry for sounding such a pratt,but I want to learn about this, cheers.

The 2.0 LPTs and 2.0 FPTs both have the same turbo units. So the only difference between a 150HP 2.0 LPT & a 175HP 2.0 FPT is the level of boost pressure set by the engine management system

My '94 2.0 LPT didn't have boost gauge either.
I had my ECU changed for a Hirsch Stage 1. (Gordon Lamb Motorsport)
Boosted power from 150 BHP to 215 BHP running on Super Unleaded. The change was incredible. And it was the only engine mod I made while I had the car. And boy was it fun, shame it had to go really
