Sure its the clutch and maybe not the hydraulic line from master to slave cylinder - way more common fault (pedal to floor with no clutch engagement). Check for wetness at flexi section - follow solid hydraulic line from clutch bell housing up and back until you come to the flexi section. if it is this then several fixes avaialable - If you can manage a couple of spanners and be able to bleed a hydraulic system (same as bleeding the brakes) then I suggest you do it yourself. remove old hydraulic line and take it to auto shop who can fabricate a complete solid line - no more flexi failures. Or get genuine saab part and do straight replacement.
then again, you may have an auto, in which case my drivel above was to no purpose (also assuming N American clutch setup is same as Euro).
