New Cim fitted poor performance

Just had the alternator rebuilt, new water pump and had timing belt which wasn't really needed. The car had a new Cim fitted, the performance is poor, it is automatic and it now hesitates, it didn't do that before. Half of the dash doesn't work, fuel gauge, the information tells me the car is doing 11 miles to the gallon, the mirrors work now and then. Disappointed after spending £1100 on the car and now it is not the same as it was previously.
