Mornin'
I just wondered if anyone has replaced the transmission mounts on a MY93 (mines an aero, if that makes any difference)? I have looked at the guide on BillJ's site, but this shows the old bush being removed once the transmission end plate had been removed whereas I would rather know how peeps have gotten on removing the old bush in situ? Also, does this bush have a thin metal collar fitted around the bush that will also need to be removed before the poly one goes in, similar to the engine torque mounts?
Cheers for any advice/experience.

Hi Kev,

While it is possible to cut out the old bushing on-site, when I did mine a few months ago I found it was much easier to just undo the bolts and remove the transmission end piece, then stick it in a vice and have a go with a hacksaw. You will again cut through a metal sleeve holding the old rubber bushing in place.

Good luck!
