For those of you who may be interested I have my Saab entered in the 6 event hill climb series at Mt. Cotton, after 2 rounds the Saab is in equal 3rd place in the road registered class. I compete against cars over 2 litres in capacity and all turbo and supercharged cars have their capacity multiplied by 1.7. The biggest capacity car is a 5 litre Holden Commodore stroked to 5.5 litres and unbeatable except for a Suzuki Swift turbo which is the class record holder. Mine is "The only Saab in the village" as Saabs are not normally seen as performance cars in Oz. Normally only old farts like myself drive Saabs. At scrutineering I was asked why I hadn't bothered to get the V8 version. No doubt confused with Audi. If you want to see some photos of the car in action you can go to www.dealphotography.com.au and go to the street registered class.
