While out today even after the car had warmed up the windows were quite steamed up.
And it wasn't that we were wet, it wasn't raining but this happened while driving, not getting out then getting back in.
Even having the window down didnt seem to do much, whats wrong.

Was it below 5 degrees outside, if so the Aircon is disabled so no humidity control.

Dont think so, had the heat on at about 76, dont think a/c work's.

I have had this effect when the heater matrix started leaking. Usualy accompanied by damp footwell and a smell

Nope no smell's or dampness just misty.

either the weather conditions or as previously stated perhaps heater matrix beginning to go. lets hope it was just the weather. still getting the problem?

yep, got the same problem. no dampness in car but if heater run on economy without aircon slight smell inside.some days i seem to have the rear screen demister on all the time.only way i can clear it is to run temp as low as 17/18 with a/c on.clears the windows but you freeze yer butt off!

have wondered if the window seals/rubber trim is on the way out,have noticed fair amount of noise from windows at higher speeds.

Porbably, just about to go out so will see how it is. It was bloody frosty this morning though but it's nearly all off now.
And to make matters worse only the pass seat heater works
