I just installed a MBC on a 9000 1991 2.3 FPT, as it had a faulty APC. I have locked it at 3 turns from the bottom. When putting my foot down boost to the end of the red section, but after a second or so settles back to the broken section. On my old GM 900 it just stays at then end of the red section untill i let of the gas, giving a lot more

Also on kickdown it only gives boost to the broken section.

Any ideas, have I done seomthing wrong ?

Turkish, I think you should get a decent graduated boost gauge if you have an MBC just so you can keep an eye on the levels which you're boosting at. I also have an MBC along with a Stage 1 upgrade on my LPT and when I put my foot down, the boost does spike to around 1.3 bar and then settle at 1 bar. I think this is normal unless someone can tell me otherwise.

Finally it is now working fine, I had the two horizontal pipes round the wrong way. I also with Andyvo fitted a boost gauge on a single pod over the speaker grille, just to keep on eye on boost.

At the moment it peaks at 1.3 Bar, and settles back to 1.1 Bar.
