Got the master cyl of the clutch today and gess what no markings on it, tried the local motor factors and they have 2 different makes, 1 at £113, 1 at £53, will they be diff types or diff makes of the same cyl, checked out ecp only one listed, same at g/swedish, now do i go ahead and order the cheaper one or will they be diff types (1993/4 cse 2.0i).

My '95 9000CD clutch master cylinder went recently. Local Saab specialist cleaned it up and replaced the rubbers. If you can get hold of them and have the tools to replace these parts then worth considering as an alternative to a new cylinder. / StewartA

Colin, as far as I can tell there is only one type of master cylinder that has been used on 9000s. The Saab part number for your year is 43 85 019.

Ta mark e, i am just going to order the cheaper of the 2 and pu it on ,welcome to saabscene StewartA, i am going to get a seal repair kit and do the old one as a back up.
