Argh! Typed a nice long reply then managed to lose it

Yes, I got a Longlife exh. Cost me £299 for the whole pipe, from turbo to tail, with one silencer, and a basic tip. Quite loud, but to get the ground clearance I need, the silencer they fitted was pretty small. It made quite a differnce to at least how the turbo behaved - I hot the overboost cut-out the first time I booted it, and the boost spools up a lot quicker. But the pipe that was on there was very restrictive (aftermarket silencer).

I'd say yes, but don't expect miracles. They only have a few hours to do what is quite a dofficult job - many beslpoke exhaust places insist on keeping the vehicle for st least a couple of days, but you (should) get a better finished pipe. I'm happy with my exhaust definitely. I'd prefer it to be quieter, but they'd have to put another silencer in for that - they ahd to make from scratch the one that's in there as it is!
