How lucky can you get ? In a breakers yard the other day looking for a part for my son's Mondeo and at that very moment a 5Oth Anniversary c900 was being unloaded from a tow truck. Had a look inside and was astounded to find a PERFECT leather interior in charcoal grey....not a blemish. Three hours later they were installed in my 2-door 900i !

How much I asked....."Oh it's only a old car....£40 said the scrapman ?"

Couldn't believe my luck...found a bottle of Glip cleaner and a bottle of Glip conditioner in the seat pockets.- Made my day !!!!

LUCKY!!! You are lucky to find a breakers that let you near a car down here! parts off the shelf at over inflated prices...because its old it must be worth lots and thats if you can find a breakers that will not crush a car if its over 10 years old. Well done! Years ago i used 2 breakers next door to each other in Colchester...down on the Hythe for any Essex boys and girls...they let you play for ages and it was always £20 for whatever you wanted..I bought a Fiat twin cam to go in my Morris Marina pick-up for £20 in 1995....it included all the electrics and when i went back a week later for the engine mount brackets he let me have them! Those were the good old days! I know of a few good scrappies in East Anglia that are still like that, but that is it!
