If anyone is interested SAABec / are having their third 'Saab' get together on Sunday 27/1/02 at the Kodak car club in Harrow Middlesex and would like to invite all the regulars to come along as well. Previous meeting have been very successful and great fun. There will be three full size car bays available all day with one of them having a full size car ramp, if you want to have a look underneath your motor. We also hope to have Brian on hand again to provide Crypton tunes for anyone that wants one for the bargain price of a fiver! Interested parties please e-mail me [email protected] for directions.

I'm thinking of going along with some of the people from the YahooGroups SAABEC list.

89 miles each way for me though.

Give the old girl a run though.

Can my car be crypton tuned, or is mine one that is supposed to tune itself? (Mine has Red DI unit, though not sure what it does exactly).

Hope you can make it, here are the directions as provided by Mr Noonan.

From the M1, southbound jct 5 then a4008 , follow the signs to Harrow,
A4008 becomes Courtenay Ave then Harrow View (M1 northbound same cos
you can't come off at jct 4 Ha!)

From the A1 take the A411 at Borehamwood until you go under the M1 then turn
left at the next roundabout (A409) follow that for about 2
miles until you come to a roundabout at jct of A409 and A410 turn right an
then left at next roundabout which will be Courtenay Ave
then Harrow View

M3 and Suvverners M25 to jct 17 turn right down onto A412 follow into
Rickmansworth until you get to a roundabout at signed A404 Harrow until jct
turn right into Courtenay Ave which becomes Harrow View look it all up on
autoroute!! or

You will have to cut and paste this link to make it all fit!

Right! when you are all in Courtenay Ave continue on over small roundabout
into Harrow View, the road rises up over a bridge and you will see the
factory on the left (it looks so beautiful!! you might want to stop and take
a picture!) over the bridge the road widens into a dual carriageway and
after the pelican crossing turn right into the car park. then turn sharp
right and drive up to the barrier, press the red button if the barriers are
down and say " please let me in I need a decent stereo and have come to
steal one!" cos thats wot every other bugger seems to be doing!! No don't,
say instead "hello I've come to the Saab meeting at the car
club" then follow it around up to the upper level car park and lo and behold
the building there is the car club garages. Bring a mug for your tea or
coffee! and a small donation for the teacoffee and use of the garages (they
are charging us 20 quid for the day, not each silly! for all of us!)

P.S.. there are three barriers use the 2 left ones, the "wicked wags" in
security will be watching you from afar on cctv and when you ask. To come in
they like to lift all the barriers except the one you are in front of!
