Hello All,
For the past 2 days I have been experiencing abrupt knocks in the car while driving. I have noticed it happening most of the times when I am in 2nd or 3rd gear. Suddenly I feel as if the car rocks 2 or 3 times and then carries on normally. I drive only for 2 miles each time from home to work and back within town. During the half mile stretch where I manage to get to 4th or 5th gear, I did not experience this rocking.
Does anyone have an idea of what might the problem be. I will be very grateful for any advice.
(car in question is a 1997 9000 CSE Anniversary manual 2.0 LPT with 124000 miles on the clock)
