I know others have written about this, but I recently got a 3" s/steel downpipe fitted by Hayward & Scott in Basildon, Essex for my 9000 Aero. the cost is approx 60 quid more than a JT, but for the extra money you get a s/s pipe with lifetime warr., they will make it the way you want it to bend/shape, and you don't have to put it in yourself. They fitted my own 3" cat and gave me a bypass pipe as well.

Serious alternative for SE England performance Saabers. An entire 3" s/s system would cost 5-600, and would last for life. Great performance exhaust professionals.

So how is the sound, dude? Did it give you any noticeable power increase, or shorten your sppol up time? Glad to hear you like it.

Sound is unchanged, as I already had a 2.5" s/steel Saab City "sport exhaust" from cat back.

Does seem to rev quicker. Top speed seems between near 5400 rpms on a cool night, certainly a little higher...
