I am considering buying a garage jack, with decent enough lift to use the jacking points at the front and rear of the 9000. My current trolley jack gives 380mm of lift, and doesn't get the wheels off the ground, let alone allow you to get the axle stands in. Most reasonably priced large jacks give 500mm of lift - if anyone has something this size, could they confirm that a lift of this much will do the job? Surely a better solution than messing around with paving slabs, blocks of wood etc.

I've one of each.

The 500mm is well worn but will lift all one side clear from the from jack point and get my axle stands under no problems.

The 380mm needs me to take up as much clearance with a wooden block before jacking, and then I'm lucky if I can get the axle stands on the 2nd hole.
