Quick question, I've got 235/45/17 97W's on the front wheel of the 9-3 I bought. Looking through the book and inside the car it's saying standard is 225/45/17 94W. I'm wondering what difference this makes to the driving, and also if it invalidates my insurance with the car not being 'standard'

You dont say the year and model.....my 1.9TID 2007 Convertible the handbook states 235/45/17 V or W as standard fitment on page 290.
I wouldnt worry myself as the difference is 10mm but if it bothers you give your insurance a quick call.

Mines the 04 aero, just going off what it says in the glovebox. I've just heard stories of people being in crashes and being refused insurance due to something silly not being original.. Will give them a ring just couldn't be bothered with the hassle of waiting half an hour to get through to hastings haha.
