Hi
I'm sure this has been asked before.. Is it possible to interchange the front seats on a 1992 3 door 900 with those of a 1990 model? I know the subframes are different but wondered if it's possible to interchange the subframes?

Presumably the rear seats and the rest of the interior is identical?

Yes, the floor changed. On earlier models the rear mount was via lugs on the seat base that located on U sections, with bolts at the front only. On later models it was bolts front and rear.

I hadn't heard before that you could swap the upper halves of the seats between different runners.

Yes it takes a bit of work but you can basically unbolt the seat runners & swap them over, you can fit the newer type seats to the older cars...
my 1990/91 leather seats have been in my 1987 T8 for 18 months now

Hi Bussman thanks for that.
Trust it can work the other way around? Older seats in newer cars? I'm set on changing the whole velour interior on a '92 model which I might buy for a tan leather interior currently in my older car. '90
