hey, i have a 9-3 SE 2001, and im installing a mechanical boost gauge. Is it true that hooking the gauge up to the intake manifold pressure line with a T connector will slow down the MAP sensor a little? I read that somewhere. If it wont, what tube is the right one, cause i took a look and was not quite sure which one it was, thanks!

There is a vacuum hose that runs to By Pass Valve. That line is the one to "T" off of. However that line first goes to a little module on the left hand rear of the engine bay. That's where I put my into.

Secondly, a 2001 9-3 SE wouldn't be as affected by the MAP sensor being slowed down because it primarily uses a Mass AirFlow sensor up by the airbox. Could affect it a little to have the "T" in the line, but not as much as on an only MAP sensor'ed car.
