Hi,

the lighting of the instruments in my Saab has just given up. I get the lighting underneath the the dials, telling you the fuel consumption and tyhe voltage and also still have the lighting for the radio and backligthing of the switches within the car, but the lighting that should iluminate the REv counter and speedo have stopped working.

Any ideas where the fault for this could lie??

have tried to remove the turn nob, with which the brightness is adjusted, and played around with it. (bridge the terminals to exclude the swith itslf) but had no luck as I am not aware of the correct pinout.

Coul;d anyone help me further....

Cheers

Ingo

Hi Ingo,
It seems tp me as if the dash illumination bulb/s have gone. They are twist fit bayonnet items and there are 4 in total. To get at them you will need to take the dash top off.
Hope that helps
