How does it compare size wise to the abbott pipe.

I must admit when looking at the standard pipe it does look kind of weedy !

Pipe looks good ylee , the easiest thing to do and to be honest we thought about it was just to put a ring of weld at the ends. Easy enough job to do, I see you have not fitted cross bracket, is it not required ? How do you wish to proceed ?

The pipe is 2.5" in dia for the first 3" and then it is 3" diameter all the way, it really is a serious pipe, i think the abbott is 2.5 " full length ?.

Ylee if it needs adjustments, mark it down, up,down,left,right,longer,shorter !!

Better still leave me the aero

I found the abbott pipe on my 2.3t gave the engine a little more breath at higher revs, I didnt notice any difference in spool up time, just a bit more willing torev

got it working now ....
needed the strutbrace otherwise it moves around and because the pipes are flat it falls off
also it could do with being about 20 mm longer at the thin end and about 15 mm at the wide end
this would help to get it all together without swearing...
but all in all pretty good
I am going to disconnect the battery and then re-adapt it so we will see....

Hello Ylee,

we have a prototype sitting so we will add the dimensions on and put retainers on the end of the pipes.

You will be able then to come across and do a straight swap with the new pipe.
