So I check this forum out anytime I have issues with my 2000 9-5 wagon. A couple days ago my water pump decided it wanted to self destruct and ended out locking up on me. Luckily it did it while I was doing my brakes and installing my winter tires. So I was at home and there was no tow truck needed.

Anyway long story short I've only owned this for just about year and haven't really had any need to wrench on it. This was my first repair of any type. I searched youtube like I always do and couldn't find any step by step videos showing how it's done. So I decided I'd make a long video showing everyone how to do this and maybe save you a few hundred dollars.

Enjoy.

I've watched the video and replaced the water pump on my Saab, 2.0L year 2000, yesterday. The video was really useful and made the job much easier. Many thanks for taking to time to make and post it on the forum.
The only thing I did differently was that I didn't remove the top engine mount bracket. I found I could get access to the steering pumps bolts using a 1/4" drive wrench via the holes in the pump's pulley. Apart from that I just followed the video.

Many thanks, John.
