After the Scottish weekend away, it was commented on how fast my 9000 was for a n/a, so when we were up at the track for some parts for my pal's cart i tried the timing equipment out and got these figures.
0 -60 in 9.3 and 1/4 mile in 16.7, as i have never seen figures for a n/a is this ok for one, as for a 200,000 mile engine i did not think this was bad, ok nothing compared with a the turbo's, but ok for a non turbo.

1/4 mile in 16.7[/b]
That's a cracking time, and nothing to be ashamed of in relation to turbos of any spec.

I drove a 2.0i for 5 years, and still drive my wife's 2.0i regularly, and for 'slow, base model' cars, they're a bag of laughs and will cover ground very quickly and confidently, as my father-in-law commented after having to work harder than he expected to, following me (driving my old CC 2.0i) in his 9-5 2.3 SE one day.

Yep it's weird. Injectie's auto revs very highly.. and just keeps pulling off the speedo.. he genuinely was keeping up with the turbos on the last couple of meets. Not in acceleration.. but on the higher speeds.
