I've got a JR filter sitting here (round, for a '97 CSE)

I've found where the old filter is, unclipped the three clips that hold the cover on ... and there's not enough clearance to get the old one out without forcing it, and doing that for the new one would probably damage it. The cover and pipe it's attached to get in the way,

So, what trick am I missing? What else do I need to do to get this new filter on?

Never mind. An application of BFI fixed it.

It's a good job the JR one is a tad smaller, though.

I take it I just need to put the filter in there? There didn't seem to be anything to fasten (other than putting the cover back on, of course).
