I recentley purchased a TurboXS boost valve that I want to install. The directions state that on vehicles with electronic boost control valves the system needs to be disabled. How can I disable the APC on my 95 9000 AERO?

It's not a route that I would recommend as it will remove the APC protection against knock; somehting that is more likely to occur if, as I suspect, you intend to use the Turbo XS controller to increase boost.

However if you really do wish to do so, then remove the C hose from the APC valve and attach it to the input of the Turbo XS, and the W hose to the output. Ideally, you should then clamp the R hose so no unfiltered air might enter into the system. It doesn't make much odds whether you disconnect the electrical connector.

The letters C,W,R are moulded at intervals along the length of the hoses and the order they are attached to the valve, top to bottom is

C (Compressor output from turbo)
W (Wastegate)
R (Return)

Bubbles, that is exactley what the tech told meto do. HoweverI tried that and it appeared that i had less or no boost. The turboxs valve was set by the tech at 15psi. Will it take some time for my ecu to recognize this? Or do you think I should start adjusting the boost, if so what level should it be at. The tech set it at 11 for the low end and 15 for the high. Thanks for the help
