For a few weeks now, when you accelerate there’s like a siren type of noise until the turbo whines and the whine sounds like a drill. Took it to a mechanic and they couldn’t figure out anything as there’s no check engine light and very minor if any performance issues. When you floor the pedal, there’s a slight hesitation then full power, and higher gas consumption
Check watergate and actuator. Also check for leaks in air hoses to and from turbo to intercooler and etc. hope not the turbo, do you use synthetic oil?
I got the turbo put all the way in except for now I couldn’t get the lower coolant banjo bolt to stop leaking. I found out there’s 2 washers needed so I put two on the top one and when I went to put two on the lower one it stripped the inside a little. Is there anything I can do? Is it ok to use loctite or anything?
Does anyone know the size of the washers that goes on the three banjo bolts on the turbo?
