I'm in the US and I'm the proud owner of a 2005 9-5 Aero wagon. I've had it now 6 years and i absolutely love this car! It owes me nothing! When i got it it had 145,000 miles on it and now it has 208,000. Sadly though it's hard to find good mechanics for this car. I found a guy who was supposed to specialize in Saab and he was the worst. I'm having some issues and I'd like some insight to maybe pass along to my new mechanic to give him an idea of how to address my cars needs. I just had the ignition coil replaced because the car was revving uncontrollably by itself and then shutting off. The ignition coil got it to start temporarily. I returned it to the shop and they put in different coil but the car is still laboring to start. The mechanic thinks that something is burning out the could but he's not sure what it is.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
