what you after off it ? the interior

if you can get what you want then strip and recoup most of the cost then its worth it, only you can put a price on it and what its worth to you if you were to buy what you require seperate at £900ish not a bad price though:)
Why strip a perfectly fine car? Make it a project vehicle, change the turbo to the Mitsi 14T, bigger injectors, remap, 345mm front brakes, 270 BHP and have some fun with it.
my diesels already tuned to 240hp n 520nm its shifts not really interested in summat like that id have the v6 if i did that n go stupid with it :D n yeah thinking interior its grey with cream side inserts so have all that n door cards etc mines full cream and with me going dark tuned look stands out a bit inside, also full creams a pain to keep clean :(
if i get it thinking swop interiors out and bang on trader make a quick 200-400 if it dont sell strip it engine turbo amp interior be most of 900 quid wont it then the rest is bread and butter. some polish dude off look at it now as its on fb so i can see, im going down tomorrow morning if it hasnt gone bid him in the balls n wave some purple notes in his face haha

120 NM more than the gearbox is rated at??
Nathan you could swop interiors giving yours a quick clean before putting in then selling as whole car (or have you said that lol) and ask 800ish, i give you cpl hundred for it as long as its not a shell lol
yup still going strong ! great gearbox that F40 was a little concerned about it when i had it mapped but seems to be ok been months now and i have a heavy right foot and a trail of black soot behind on most occasions haha

yeah thats what i mean swop interiors n then try sell as whole for quick cash if i dont get the price i want strip the thing and earn more money but take longer to get and more hassle
Here comes grief ....... 1. Strip it & log the parts up & sell em' 2. Don't bother at all .........

I say take £600 in cash & wave it about (At the correct time) ....... Otherwise its gonna be major work & grief for little proffit .....
cant understand why you'd want a petrol 9-3, they make best sense with a derv engine

i would'nt say that "a derv makes more sense" depends on the individual, what it going to be used for, they both have there pro's and con's............and if looked after either can provide many hours of happy motoring:D

I hear what you're saying and i do agree with you but it you're going to be out the running costs on a petrol then at least buy something a bit more exciting than a Saab. I bought my diesel Saab because i needed a diesel car for work but i wanted something a little unusual. Its quick, easy to run, comfortable, safe, reliable and looks good; for all the right reasons basically.

If you're going to buy a petrol Saab, at least make sure its the V6, no point in buying this 1.8 just because its cheap, it will be gutless and costly to run
