Wgat grease has anybody used to repack their drive shaft CV joints?
Anything exotic?

I use Lithium 'LM' grease.

I would definitely not use lithium-only grease for this application; you need grease with a molybdenum additive, the same grease as is in the grease sachet that comes with a CV joint boot kit. I cannot recall offhand whether LM grease has this, but if it is dark greyish-black in colour, it almost certainly has. It will tell you on the tin. HOWEVER... your friendly local motor factor will sell you a pot of CV joint grease for not much more than the ordinary stuff.

Castrol keep changing the info they print on the tins - but I've bought their MOLYGREASE, I think it used to be called MS3. It is lithium based with the molydenum disulphide additive.
It's dark grey, so this looks like the stuff to use.

I use Comma myself, but anything with molydenum disulphide is fine.

After a long wait, Castrol themselves recommended their Molygrease for CV joints.
