Hi,

Does anybody have a diagram of the correct assembly of the catch mechanism? The glove box was falling open itself so I unscrewed the panel (no. 4747143) in order to glue back a broken plastic piece holding one of the hooks. I glued it back fine but things have since gone from bad to worse as when i tried to put the panel back on, the catch mechanism has gone tits up and there's a spring floating about looking for a home...

Nothing in the workshop manual or the parts list. Saab obviously don't reckon it's serviceable.

The only good news is that the lock and handle are available separately from the lid.

I have a grey one. You could have it for a tenner, or £17 C/W the lock and key. Shipping would be about £17.
