Is it possible to convert a normal glove box, to a lockable one simply by purchasing the correct bits, would like to do this and add the metallic finish to match the rest of the car.

Yes its Diesel and I love it, got a tuning box fitted also and it is heaven to drive.
Had all the usual problems to start with EGR DPF EML but sorted them all by myself THANKS TO THIS FORUM, The Saabscene all stars, Thank you all for your support now and in the future Hopefully!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Haven't seen that done before but convertibles have locking glove boxes so there is probably a way to do it.

Don't really see the point in lockable gloveboxes, because if they want to break in to your car which is the hard a glove box locked is the leastcof the worries, I never lock my mine it's another repair bill if they do get in.

Agree with rrayvon and have never locked my glovebox with a hardtop or convertible.
But with the top down when popping into shops etc. I do ! :crazy:
