I'm thinking about replacing the passenger airbag with a gove box.
I've got a 1996 beige facia, so - was there ever a beige glove box? or were glove boxes obsolete by the time the beige facia appeared?

Yes, you can get a beige glovebox. Ive seen them but they are very rare and only fitted to pre-95 cars. Your best bet is to keep watching for breakers on the forums and ebay and hope one comes up. I saw a car on ebay a couple of weeks ago with the beige interior but no passenger airbag. Mind you, can you aford to buy a whole car just for a glovebox?
