I am trying to find a recon gearbox for my 2.3i M91 9000. It seems that they are rarer than rocking horse poo. I notice that turkish was off the road for a long while to do with a gearbox. Any suggestions for a source? The best that I have found so far is to use one from a scrap 9000, that has as many miles on it as mine (130k) - so that would be a bit of a lottery.

Hi paul,

Yes they are very rare, I tried several garages, then Saab flight said they had one, so I had to snatch that quickly. I tried www.parts-asap.co.uk they always said they had a flow of them, they took my money and said they had one, but 2 weeks later they told me they did not !! but they might be worth a try as a last resort !
