Hi
Last night I noticed a noise like a fan running inside the car, even after taking the keys out. It wasn't the radiator fan. Any ideas ?
Also can anyone recommend decent "budget" tyres ?
My 9k cse has 205/50/16 on carly x-spokes.

The noise is almost certainly the fan in the dashboard that sucks cabin air past the cabin air temperature sensor for the climate control. It's located below the seat heater switches. If it gets annoyingly loud, you can take it out and clean it.

Can anyone tell me how to take the cabin air fan out to clean it?

Sorry all,
you can ignore this post, I did a search for cabin air fan, and a post how to remove it.

I had the same noise a while ago.

Push a small screwdriver in around the edges of the fan cover and gently ease it out.

The whole fan motor comes with it.

You will be able to see the shaft? of the fan it will be covered in bits of fluff and dust, clean it off and put a small amount of light oil on the shaft and hey presto noise gone.
