I have for sale an Elkparts / Speedparts 2.0litre Saab 9000 eco power ECU, which is Stage1 mapped for +76 bhp from an eco Turbo, to give 225bhp, to match an 9000 2.3l Aero.
This was fitted to my 1997 9000 2.0l CS eco turbo base model which had no immobiliser (vss) fitted. Central locking yes but you had to insert the key. I had an aftermarket toad alarm/immobiliser fitted after fitting this which was tied into the central locking, but this did not affect the ecu.
So if you have a base model 2.0l eco power, then this is for you, if it has remote central locking, then you will need to tech2 this to get it talking to your immobilizer.
The mapping is superb, in my driving using it over 70,000 miles in 2.5 years, it gave 1.1mpg less than when I had just 150bhp under my right foot. And the performance!?
The difference cannot be overestimated, it transforms your car, from a smooth sleeper, to a fast motorway cruiser, that will match a Lotus Elise sport to over 100mph in a drag race, and give Scooby drivers something to think about.
