I am planning on fitting a set of abbott lowering springs to my 97 CSE.

Is this a straight forward task that can be completed at home or is it a job best left for the pro's to do ?

What is the best way to remove the springs ?

Cheers

I've done it - quite easy really BUT .... there is always a but, use very good spring compressors for the front struts.

I too have done it on my GM900 - got my spring compressors from Draper - approx £30ish plus postage for three compressors from their online site.

Hi all,
I also have replaced springs and shocks on a few cars over the past few years and while being pretty straight forward it is also quite un-nerving when you think if it ever let go !!!!!

so be careful
Cheers Jim.
