This is on a 1996 9000CS, and right near the seat heater switches there is a little plastic peice with holes, and there is a fan about 1-2 inches in that. This fan makes a very annoying noise and I was wondering if there was an easy fix for it? Thanks.

That is the ACC cabin temp sensor. I think there was a thread on that a little while back. It probably has a lot of dirt and lint in it. I have removed the ash tray and then pushed the ACC unit out from the back. Then carefully pop the cover off the fan and release the fan from the dash(fan goes in towards the dash). You should be abl to clean it up and it will be quiet, it will probably make your ACC system work better.

Hi
It is the cabin temp sensor.take it out and use tweezers to remove any fluff etc. Give it a good spray with a non-residue contact cleaner and hey presto! no more noise... not on mine anyway.
Cheers
