I am having a lot of problems with the TCS system. I have changed the throttle body last week which seemed to have cured it. However it keeps throwing another fault code, code 22220 if I recall corectly. This should be related to a missing +30. However, if I put the contact in the on position, I can hear the relay thicking in the glove compartement while there is no movement in the car. Yesterday, I could even drive the car for over an hour without problems.

Can this be related to a dodgy ecu under to seat, or do I have to look for a bad connection somewhere? I already have cleaned all the connections with contact spray.

Any info is appreciated.

Good morning gentlemen. Marky, could you tell me the kind of problems you had with your car's TCS? Have you had the throttle body re-parametered with an ISAT, or have you just changed it? I am still wondering whether it is necessary to re-parameter a throttle body, as a Saab specialist told me this part was sold "ready to fit" (but he wasn't sure of this...).

I think I shall change for an good old 1960's BLMC Mini Cooper, with its good old SU's...

The TCS manual (TIM) is quite specific. You MUST re-calibrate the system (ISAT or TechII) after changing a throttle body, no exceptions.

scroll back to my post on the 26th May on this, my garage has concluded that I should have been recalibrated too. Im off to the dealer tomorrow to be recalibrated on ISAT.
Fingers crossed, and I will add to this post if it works.
