Hello I am wondering how I can fix two problems pertaining to electrical system on my car.

Most importantly my cars electrical system is very erratic and sometimes the A/C and dash controls turn off and don't work and then suddenly come back on. Meanwhile my headlights will flicker from bright to dim.
I am thinking it may be the voltage regulator but was wondering if any of you guys had any other thoughts.

My 93 CSE Has over 200,000 miles and looks great..take a look..I love her

In addition my cars battery is giving off a rotten egg smell and I know this is a problem with the battery being over charged (right?)

Would this be fixed by changing the voltage regulator?

BTW my trusty SAAB guide book doesn't give instructions on how to install a voltage regulator. any hints on how to do this job??

thanks sincerely!

I am certain its coming from the battery. I am pretty sure my initial idea about the voltage regulator is correct..I have looked at a few other sites.

apparantly sexy car pics don't invoke response from this site..love it all the same
