Hi all,

After recently suffering the loss of a fuel pump, I am now receiving err on my trip display for a few seconds before a relay clicks and the fuel guage starts to register, then everything is fine. The old pump was exchanged (twice, because of this fault) any ideas anybody. I hope it is something really simple.

All is now well, after re-reading Haynes manual wiring diagram I removed fuse 7 (7 is actually the item number for the fuse box) the in car fuse indication stated that fuse 7 was for the headlamp wipers, so I tried the wipers and they didn't work, I replaced the fuse, with the ignition still on and the headlight wipers ran for a few wipes. I turned the ignition off then back on and lo & behold no error message.

Don't know why but I'm a happy chappie again,
