can the engine mounts from 1994 on be retro fitted to a 1993 9000?

It's a different block, so I would guess not. Someone will hopefully be able to provide a more detailed answer.

It depends:
If you've a 2.3 then the engine mounts are for 1991 - 1998,
All models used these mounts from 1994

I don't know what the 2.0's used prior to 1994.
