Hi I've got a "seat not locked back" warning going off even though the seat is definitely back and locked. It seems like the sensor in the seat has failed and for the meantime rather than take the seat apart to find it I have just unplugged the wiring conector under the seat so that the warning doesnt constantly go off when I'm driving. Of course now I have no heated seat and worst of all the seat side airbag warning light is on, which is an MOT fail.
Rather than take the seat apart to find it I'd like to just disconect the wire to the sensor and plug the seat back in but I have no idea which wire is which.
I've taken the car to an autoelectrician and he said that he doesnt know either!
Has anyone come across this problem before and solved it?
