Can it be done?
Once again after just 3 days on not being driven, (after a 50 mile round trip) the car won't turn and meter reads 9,5V on a four month old battery!
I am suspecting that jolly red alarm light. Can I disable just the alarm (without doing the long winded lock with key from passenger side method?)
The old battery which I replaced but kept in the greenhouse showed 12.5 after four months storage and started the car fine. So in fact can't have been much wrong with it!
I have checked the alternator and when the car is running I am seeing 14V on the battery terminals at idle.
