Does anyone else dislike the fact that the dip bubls remain lit when on main beam?
All other cars I've had switch them off via H4 bulbs. I'm led to believe the reason is cost - it saves on switching apparatus (??). The problem for me is that the near light makes the eye stop down (like a camera) and then I can't see the light up ahead properly.

But what to do? The easiest solution might be to use these Philips Vision bulbs with the highet wattage allowed, in the main beam only. Or use a relay to switch the dips off??

Any thoughts?
