As a newbie I'm confused by the different stage 1 ECU upgrades for my 2.0 LPT.
Why do some require various other changes, but others need none to get 200bhp+?
e.g.
New injectors with SAAB's own 193bhp upgrade
A new wastegate for the Abbott 190bhp
A new airfilter for the Hirsch 211bhp or Speedparts 215bhp.
No changes at all for the Maptun 225bhp, Chipcenter 200bhp or BSR 210bhp.

The reason why Saab has to change injectors is probably because they have to have the same safety limits as it had from the factory - something the others doesn't. This doesn't mean that the others are dangerous, it's just that the others are probably running closer to the limit

The other changes are just a different ways to get the wanted power (but personaly I think it's strange to change the WG-actuator for a stage 1 ECU, the stock unit should be perfectly able to cope with that...)
