The DCC photo transistor failed recently so the display was constantly dark - OK at night but difficult to see in the day. Well I've managed to find a suitable replacement and its fixed

Which one did you use and where did you get it?

Erm, I'll have to ask my electronics man. Sure it was from Maplins only a quid or so. I'll take some pictures, write-up and put it on saabs.info
